The South Downs Way is a great days riding, although this is not a circular
hack, we will meet you in the lorry for lunch and collect you after your
afternoon ride.
Starting at Queen Elizabeth Forest is ideal as it has good parking
facilities, toilets and a cafe. Here you will follow the clearly marked
bridleway through some beautiful rolling countryside, across Beacon Hill,
Treyford Hill, crossing the A286 to Littleton Farm where we will meet you for
buffet lunch, then after a rest an easy afternoon riding through Houghton Forest
to the collection point at Houghton.
We also often do the easy ride from Wickham along the disused railway, again
we will meet up with you for lunch or for the more intrepid you can take the
lunch with you in backpacks and have it alone the route. But whichever you
decide we will be there to collect you at the end of what will be a very
enjoyable day’s hacking.
