The New Forest has endless variety of Bridleways zigzagging through woodland
opening out onto large areas of fern or heath lands. Stop off at a pub for a
quiet drink!
We tend to use different routes depending on the time of year and length
of ride required. A very popular hack is starting at East Grimstead
riding North to The Common for lunch and then on through Broughton finishing the
day at Chilbolton for a cup of tea and cake before setting off for home.
Most hacks in the New Forest can be done with only very small amount
of road work so it is ideal for even the most spooky horse! Also for the
more experienced rider there is excellent cantering.
Another popular ride although this one does involve some road work
starts at Bramshaw Telegraph just on the B3078 up to Redlynch, crossing the A36
at Pepperbox Hill, stopping here for picnic lunch and refreshments. After a rest
you will continue down to Whiteparish, onto to Landford, Hamptworth and
back to the start at Bramshaw Telegraph.
