Price List

The prices to hire the basic trailer is as follows:

Per day excluding weekends  (7.30 am to 5.00 pm)                                   £45

Per week (7.30 am Monday to 5.00 pm Friday)                                       £195

Per Weekend (7 am Saturday to 7pm Sunday)                                           £80

Booking Deposit

To secure the trailer a £50 booking deposit is required. If the booking is for just one a day then only the full amount will be taken at the time of booking. The balance for the hire charges will be taken 14 days prior to collection of the horsebox, if the booking is made within 14 days of the collection date then the whole amount of the hire fee will be charged at the time of booking.

Damage & Loss Deposit 

The day prior to collection a £250 Damage and Loss Deposit is secured, as a defered payment, against a credit card. The Damage & Loss Deposit is returned in full as long as the trailer is returned without any damage. See Terms and Conditions

Payments

We accept Credit or Debit cards, cash or cheques made payable to Horse Movers Ltd, or electronic transfer (contact us for bank account details). Cheques are required 5 days prior to collection to ensure the funds are cleared, cash is also require 5 days prior to the collection.

Please Note the Damage and Loss Deposit must be paid using a credit card.

Damage or Breakages

Please be aware that any damage or breakages however caused to any fixtures or fittings, utensils or equipment will be charged at the full replacement cost.

Loss of Use

If the damage caused stops the trailer from being hired to other clients or results in cancellations then the full charge of these cancellations and any loss of income will be charged.

Cancellation

14 days or more notice full deposit will be returned less £25 handling fee.

Less than 14 days notice of cancellation then the deposit is forfeited.

24 hours or less prior to the first day of hire then the full amount of the contract will be charged.

Regular Journeys

If you have a regular requirement for transport then we are happy to discuss your needs and quote for the work.

VAT

All our charges are exclusive of VAT which will be added at the prevailing rate.

Trailer Insurance

To hire a trailer we recommend you check that the towing of a livestock trailer is included in your car insurance, if it is not we require you to take trailer insurance through an independent insurance company such as Equine and Leisure (www.eandl.co.uk) the cost of this insurance is approximately £12.

Due to insurance restriction you must hold a Full British Driving Licence for at least 2 years showing the correct catagory for towing with less than 6 minor points, be 21 years or older, have no criminal convictions relating to drink driving or drug abuse.
