The cost to hire this lorry with driver is as follows:
Mileage Charge
95p (Ninty Five pence) per mile calculated from Horse Movers
Ltd base to the pick up point and then to the destination and return back
to our base.
Multiple Location Mileage
If the horses are at different locations then the mileage between
locations will be charged at the standard rate of 95p.
Loading and Unloading
Included in this price is 1 hour for loading/offloading the
horse/s and tack on to and off the lorry. If it takes longer then each
subsequent hour or part hour will be charged at £25.
Vehicle Facilities
If you wish to retain the vehicle for a period of time, for
example the day at a show jumping event or gymkhana then the
charges are as follows:
Per hour
(between pick up and drop off of

2 hours 40 mins to load = 2 hours charged= £50

Deposit
At the time of booking a £100 booking fee is
required and if you wish to use the accommodation a £500
Damage Deposit is paid with the rental charges on or before the actual
day of Hire.
Payment
Currently we are able to accept Credit or Debit cards or
payments by cheques payable to Horse Movers Ltd, or electronic transfer
(contact us for bank account details) or cash.
A 1.5% surcharge is made on all credit card transactions.
Additional Costs
If the hirer uses the living facilities then the following should
be noted:
*Kitchen/Shower/Toilet
Please be aware that these facilities must be cleaned and all
utensils and equipment cleaned and stowed correctly.
If any of the kitchen, shower or toilet is not cleaned then a
cleaning charge of £40 will be made for each facility requiring cleaning.
*Damage or Breakages
Please be aware that any damage or breakages how ever caused to
any fixtures or fittings, utensils or equipment will be charged at the full
replacement cost.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel the contract and give 14 days or more then
the full deposit will be returned less £35 handling fee. If less than 14
days cancellation then the deposit is forfeited.
Regular Journeys
If you have a regular requirement for transport then we are happy
to discuss your needs and quote for the work.
VAT
All our charges are exclusive of VAT which will be added at the
prevailing rate, currently 17.5%.
